Prepare an honest second-hand listing: inspect the item, take useful photos, describe defects and organise payment and handover.

## Prepare the item

- [ ] Check the platform accepts the item you want to sell
- [ ] Check the item for visible wear and damage
- [ ] Test the functions you can safely check
- [ ] Clean the item using a suitable method
- [ ] Gather the accessories included in the sale
- [ ] Measure the dimensions relevant to the buyer

## Build the listing

- [ ] Take a clear overall photo of the actual item
- [ ] Photograph each visible defect
- [ ] Photograph useful details and included accessories
- [ ] Write a title identifying the item and model
- [ ] Describe the condition and any untested functions
- [ ] State exactly what is included in the sale

## Arrange the sale

- [ ] Set an asking price after checking comparable items
- [ ] Choose collection or a suitable shipping option
- [ ] Check parcel weight and dimensions before quoting shipping
- [ ] Keep payment and messages within the platform’s recommended process
- [ ] Confirm payment through your own account before handing over the item
- [ ] Mark the listing as sold after the handover
